We Are Slaves

BAD NEWS: We are slaves.

GOOD NEWS: We are slaves?

It’s funny how everyone knows that the top 1% of Americans own 30% of the wealth, and we’re cool with it—lol.

Meanwhile,

the bottom 90% of Americans hold only 25% of the wealth
40 years ago, they held 40%.

That’s a 35% decrease in four decades—those guys are damn good at extracting our wealth.

America: The Land of Dreams?

It’s crazy to think—maybe I’ve watched Pursuit of Happiness too many times—but America used to be the land of dreams.
If you grinded it out, you could change economic classes
From a foreign peasant to an American in a business suit, right?

SIKE.

42% of people born in poverty STAY in poverty.

It’s the worst rate in developed countries.

That’s almost a coin toss on whether you’ll ever make it out.

Where Is All the Money Going?

The richest Americans gained $1.7 TRILLION from 2020-2022—a 57% increase in their net worth.

And guess what they’re doing with it?
As any good, diversified investor should…

They’re BUYING LAND.

America was founded in 1776.

In the 1990s, the 10 largest private landowners controlled 7.46 million acres.

Today? The top 10 private landowners control 15.42 million acres.

That’s NEARLY DOUBLE.

Convenient Timing, Right?

Most people are getting priced out, and the richest are consolidating control.

And look—I’m not saying they don’t deserve to be wealthy.
They deserve compensation for ingenuity, grit, and dedication…

But where’s the line?
Because apparently, there isn’t one.

This Isn’t Even About Politics.

I personally didn’t vote.

The elites are slowly but surely owning the businesses and the land.
We are already slaves

and the very few who do make it out, don't look back

If all of this happened within the last 30-40 years

What will our grandchildren be (for the bottom 90%)?

Anyway, I’ll see you at work Monday.

TL;DR AT BOTTOM
