Everything is an Investment

Time = Money

Money = Time

We are ALL currently investing in something at every single SECOND… and a lot of us aren’t fully grasping the concept.
Many of us aren’t even fully conscious that we are, indeed,

INVESTING INTO WHAT WE ARE DOING AT EVERY SINGLE SECOND.

I think a lot of us invest our TIME (money) into things we shouldn’t… and I myself am VERY guilty of this.

I love scrolling through TikTok, and some days it might be hours of just nonsense…

Looking back, I literally INVESTED in making my brain addicted to short, quick dopamine fixes.

If I drink a lot on Saturday night and, as a result, I’m hungover Sunday morning and have to sleep in longer, I have

literally chosen TO INVEST INTO SLEEPING IN MY BED LONGER.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t go out—because if I’m going out Saturday, I’m INVESTING in wilding out with my friends, which I do enjoy.

What I am saying is…

We should all consider our time to be more valuable

BECAUSE IT IS THE MOST VALUABLE THING WE HAVE.

I want to encourage YOU to be more mindful of what you are INVESTING IN.

And I am NOT trying to be pretentious or make you feel guilty for watching TV or doing whatever, because I still do all of that too (oh trust me I do).

Having leisure time is necessary—

YOU ARE INVESTING IN RELAXING.

We need to relax at times!

I’m not trying to be a freak like David Goggins and wake up at 4 AM every morning to run 10 miles…
That’s not what I’m saying.

And that is something I DO NOT WANT TO INVEST IN.

What I AM saying is…

If you’re bored, and you’ve already:

  • Watched TV for 2 hours

  • Been scrolling for 2 hours

  • Played COD for 2 hours

Just BORED—stop and ask yourself:

Could I be investing in something better for myself?

  • Get a piano on Amazon for $100 and learn it.

  • Go to the thrift store and INVEST in looking for some cool room décor.

  • Buy a sketchbook for $10 (I used to try and draw… terribly).

  • INVEST in something that you can actually get something out of…
    other than

    INVESTING IN BEING ENTERTAINED.

I myself like to go to the gun range every so often if I have some extra time—because it’s a fun, rewarding skill/hobby for me.

Also, if you get bored often, you should check out my YouTube video recommendations!

But like I said, I want to ENCOURAGE you—change starts when YOU want it to.

WHAT

YOU

ARE

INVESTING

IN.

So…..

What are you investing in today?

(Tip: Write a sticky note that says “What are you investing in today?” somewhere you can see and read every day )

^^ (I keep one on my desk monitor / bathroom mirror/ and TV)

TL;DR:

Everything is an Investment

  • Time = Money. Money = Time.

  • Every second, you’re investing in something—whether you realize it or not.

  • If you spend hours scrolling TikTok, gaming, or binge-watching TV, you’re investing in entertainment and dopamine addiction.

  • Hungover on Sunday? You invested in drinking and sleeping in.

  • Going out? That’s an investment in having fun. Nothing wrong with that—but be mindful.

What are you investing in today? (Write it on a sticky note as a daily reminder.)

TL;DR: At bottom
